Kate practises a style of yoga called Vinyasa Flow. Synchronising movement with breath as you flow in and out of postures. A dynamic, creative and energising yoga practice giving you the chance to explore some more interesting and challenging postures. Not suitable for beginners.

I qualified as a teacher of yoga at Kranti Yoga School in Goa, India in 2015, achieving a 200 hour teacher training qualification in Ashtanga Yoga. This qualification is recognised worldwide and meets the international education standards of the Yoga Alliance.
My passion is yoga for all. My priority is to facilitate a relaxed and friendly environment in which beginners and experienced practitioners can learn and flourish. I am particularly interested in taking yoga to people who may not be happy to join a conventional class: young children, older people, boys and men, busy workers (lunchtime yoga anyone?), differently abled people, and those new to exercise of any kind.
My classes are Ashtanga flow based. I take elements from the Ashtanga Primary Series and put them into a sequence, allowing the moves the flow together. I believe that the practice of yoga is for the mind, body and soul and I aim to relax all within my sessions.
Jack has been working as a trainer at Racquets for just over two years and has been training in the club for nearly 7. Jack’s also an on call local fire fighter. Jack Shrimpton understands how important it is to keep fit and ready for anything.
Jacks a versatile functional trainer who encompasses a variety of different resistance training methods be it hard high intensity circuits with little rest to lighter weights done slowly. Jack’s Passion is power lifting and cross training, putting overload on the body promoting gains in size and strength. I believe that someone who is truly fit can perform all elements of fitness: speed, agility, strength, flexibility and endurance.

Claire has worked at Racquets for over 7 years.
Claire can help you to acheive your fitness goals, whether it be to lose weight and tone up, get fitter or even just to make day to day tasks easier to manage. You will be given a full fitness test on your first session, when you will also be able to discuss your goals and work out a suitable programme especially for you.
Nigel will help you reach your fitness goals whatever they may be. Weight Loss,body fat reduction, increased energy levels, sports conditioning and toning,diet and nutrition advice.
Nigel’s first session will include a fitness assessment to establish your current level, from here a Goal setting contract will be agreed. Without a goal to aim for you’ll never know if you have scored?
Then, working with you, Nigel will ensure you reach your goals.
