Racquets Squash Academy – free coaching for a select few

The Racquets Squash Academy has spaces for 4 new members.

Academy positions are available to any Year 6 or above who would like to find out if squash could be their sport.  

No previous experience of playing squash is necessary and candidates do not need to be naturally sporty.  Squash is a sport that appeals to mathematicians and computer programmers as well as builders and footballers.

Partipants must 

1. join Racquets on Junior Gold membership @ £18 per month
2. commit to visiting the club for coaching / training / playing / work experience at least 3 times a week
3. be prepared to do any kind of work (suitable for their age) that we ask of them
4. be Year 6 or above
5. be polite and helpful

Racquets will

1. provide coaching free of charge directly after school from 3.30pm to 4pm in groups or individual
2. provide mentoring to learn to play and how to progress as fast as you can aspire to
3. provide work experience that will benefit you later when you are looking for paid work
4. provide a safe environment for you to become confident around adults and children
